- It is a policy of the GCE Board that no Duplicate Results Slip/Certificate should be issued. However, consideration could be given where the certificate is lost through fire or theft. Such loss shall be duly attested to, by a Police Report (Attestation of Loss).
“A duplicate certificate or results slip will be issued only when satisfactory evidence of identity is available. Where the Board is satisfied with the evidence provided in this respect and agrees to the issue of a duplicate certificate or results slip, a fee will be payable. Applications for duplicate certificates must be addressed to the Registrar.” (Regulation 1.23, page 19 of GCE Regulations and Syllabuses for General Education Subjects- From June 2015 session).
Requirements:
- Hand written application addressed to the Registrar carrying a 1,500 FCFA fiscal stamp.
- Attestation of loss document issued by the police authority.
- Filled duplicate request form.
- Photocopy of result slip or certificate.
- A Duplicate certificate cost (50,000) FCFA), duplicate result slip (21,000) FCFA.
- All payments for duplicates should be done in any BICEC branch using the GCE BOARD ACCOUNT NO: 08684242000 – 64 and original bank receipt with 3 photocopies presented at the GCE Board treasury upon submission of documents.
- All required documents listed above are mandatory upon submission.
